I believe the piece is The Old Woman by Hugh S Roberton and the words are by Joseph Campbell (Seosamh MacCathmhaoil).

    As a white candle
    in a holy place,
    so is the beauty
    of an aged face.

    As the spent radiance
    of the winter sun,
    so is a woman
    with her travail done,

    Her brood gone from her,
    and her thoughts as still
    as the waters
    under a ruined mill.

And Boosey and Hawkes will flog you a copy of the sheet music for £1.50, presumably plus postage.

Thanks, LC, I look forward to seeing it in SATB, as I had learnt it in Westerton Male Voice Choir in the early 60s.
